Imagination ExerciseImagination indicates thoughts not perceived during factual reasoning. Mental images of events or objects that arise fundamentally from the mind's thought and not from events involve imaginative abilities. An individual can have a wide range of experiences existing only in the mind through the power of imagination. Sasson, (2001) explains that “memory is actually a manifestation of imagination” (p. 1). Imagination has unlimited boundaries and imagination manifests itself in different forms. Daydreaming is a basic form of imagination. With the mind unoccupied, imagination provides momentary relief from tension, calm, and contentment (Sasson, 2001). This imaginative exercise involves a visual work of art that produced dialogues between characters, reflections on possible events, cultural considerations, the artist's main goals, and personal thoughts regarding memories, emotions, and reactions. Piece of Visual Art Harding Gallery's Photostream Online featured the visual artwork, A Cold-Painted Austrian Bronze Depicting an Eagle Preparing to Fly (Harding Gallery, 2006). The eagle's wings were fully extended, its beak open and its eyes focused, it seemed ready to begin flight. The eagle intended to soar in the sky. The yellow-colored eagle's feet, black nails and bronzed body symbolized strength, purpose, the will to move effectively and successfully. The wings, a shade of dark gray with white-tinged backdrops, made the eagle seem too perfect to be real; however the expression of the face, beak and outstretched wings created their own reality. The reality is that the time has come, the time is here, the eagle prepares to fly, the eagle will fly. Character...... half of the sheet...... perspectives of the verses. This article has provided a fictional perspective regarding the visual artwork, A cold-painted Austrian bronze, portrait of an eagle preparing to fly. The dialogue between characters, reflection on probable events, cultural considerations, the artist's main goal and thought process, and personal thoughts regarding memories, emotions, and reactions demonstrate the inventive process the mind goes through to discover situational relevance.
