How does listening to music while studying affect students' academic performance? Many students have different ways of studying and gaining knowledge for upcoming exams or tests. Some students prefer to study in complete isolation and complete silence, while others prefer to have background noise such as music on to help them study. For many students, listening to music while studying helps them feel relaxed and less stressed, helps them focus more on the knowledge they are trying to gain, and generally helps improve their academic performance by performing better in school. As a researcher, this question interests me because I would like to know why so many students use music to help them study and how it affects their overall performance. As a student, I personally prefer not to listen to music while studying or doing any activity related to school work because I feel like I can't focus and concentrate on what I'm trying to study. If I listen to music while studying, my brain will get distracted and not think about the knowledge I'm trying to gain, but rather focus too much on the music I'm playing. So there may be different genres of music that you should listen to that will help you stay focused and put more effort into your work while trying to study. Not only that, but I would also like to know how music affects a student's academic performance in general. Does listening to music while studying help you do better in school? Do you stay more focused while listening to a lesson? What I think we need to know to get answers to these questions is data on students who listen to music and whether it has helped them with their overall academic performance and data on...... middle of paper... ... relax because music comforts the mind. Which ultimately leads to the kind of music that relaxes the mind. Studies have shown that listening to classical music like Mozart makes you smarter, and exposure to it at an early age helps your performance. As has been proven, all of this relates to students' overall academic performance because relaxing the mind and releasing stress helps them stay more focused in school, which means better grades and memorizing facts sufficiently for a long period of time thanks to music . it helps to perform tests and exams better and finally in general classical music frees the mind and leads to complete academic performance. Listening to music helps students in many different ways. Music satisfies students' overall performance and, academically, improves their ability to do better in school.
