Brazil has its vision to bring revenue growth and a place ahead of the competition. No other nation shares our vision and conceptual capacity regarding the big picture of business and our economy. We have a strong vision for the future. One of our strengths, for example, is our high tourism potential. According to HRI (Hotel & Resort Insider), “The country has come up with ways and means to attract more international tourists as the nation prepares to host the Football World Cup.” Tourists from Russia in particular have been targeted as they rank fifth on the list of global tourist spenders. Furthermore, the Brazilian tourism board also considers Japan a key market. In 2010, the number of foreign visitors to the country totaled 5.2 million, according to the United Nations World Tourism Organization. That said, tourism in Brazil is a growing sector for the economy of several regions of the country. Another strength we have is our natural resources. Thanks to its ideal agricultural climate, Brazil boasts a healthy export trade in coffee, sugar, textiles and electrical equipment. Brazil is rich in ethanol, minerals, iron, precious stones, steel and oil. Recent discoveries of oil wells that could potentially contain more than 9 million barrels of oil are helping to establish Brazil as a major new frontier for oil exploration.
