Elizabeth Tudor also known as Elizabeth I of England was born on 7 September 1533 in Placentia Palace in Greenwich, United Kingdom. It all started when Elizabeth I's father, King Henry VIII of England, wanted to marry Anne Boleyn (Elizabeth's mother), but Henry VIII was married to Catherine Parr or Catherine of Aragon. The Pope did not honor his divorce, so King Henry VIII went against the Catholic faith and founded his own church to honor his marital wishes. This means that when she separated from the church, when Elizabeth was born she became a Protestant. When King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn married on January 25, 1533, she promised to bear Henry a son because she wanted a male heir to reign, which did not happen. So the birth of Elizabeth I was a complete disappointment. After a thousand days of marriage, King Henry VIII had Anne Boleyn beheaded by a professional French executioner, after false accusations of sexual relations with other men, including her brother. Elizabeth was just 3 years old when her mother was brutally murdered. Anne Boleyn was the second of 6 wives that King Henry VIII had. After Elizabeth I's mother was brutally murdered, she was left to be raised by Lady Bryan. Elizabeth I's father was not very involved in her life because he was a big disappointment. For example, when she had her lavish baptism to honor her birth, King Henry VIII did not attend because she was a great disappointment in her father's eyes. Elizabeth was raised much like any other royal child. He excelled in several languages, arts and music. When her father King Henry VIII died in 1547, she spent some time caring for her stepmother Catherine Parr. The career of Elizabeth I, in my opinion, was a...... middle of paper......ents was to reign simply as Queen of England because then the world was ruled mainly by men, being a leader that big required a lot of courage. If Elizabeth I had not existed, the world would have been different. The first obvious reason why the world would be different is that she would never reign as Queen of England. Also, since she was the Queen of England, what English life looked like during her reign would have been very different. With this, personal religious beliefs would be debated due to the impact of King Henry VIII's religion, and so Queen Elizabeth I stuck to her father's religious decisions involving his church. If Elizabeth I had not existed Mary, the Queen of Scots would most likely have taken Elizabeth I's position as Queen of England. The rebellions defeated by Elizabeth I could have perhaps had a different ending.
