Would you ever travel abroad if you had to go on a boat trip for 30 days or maybe even longer, crowded with limited supplies and moving only as fast as the wind allows? Personally I wouldn't go to that much trouble to visit Europe. The Wright brothers are two visionaries who designed and built the world's first airplane. The brothers owned a fancy bicycle repair shop in Ohio and devoted all their free time to designing their version of an airplane. On December 17, 1902 at Kitty Hawk the brothers made history by making the first controlled, powered, sustained heavier-than-air human flight. If you were born before the airplane and someone told you they could build a machine for human flight you would call it crazy and it's still a crazy concept, the only people to fly before the crazy invention of a flying machine were superheroes, now look against us. Everyone has the voice that says it's possible even if others say it can't be done, if anyone ever tells you that, just say that people told the Wright brothers that human flight was an insanely impossible thing but they worked for achieve their goal and they knew they could overcome anything to achieve it and they proved all those people wrong, which makes their victory so sweet yet so sour. People might try to bring you down, but get on your plane and fly! That's why I believe the Wright brothers are great revolutionaries without them travel and mail services would slow down tremendously! The Wright brothers did nothing but help us with the creation of a flying machine, the two brothers owned a bicycle repair shop in Dayton, Ohio and spent most of their free time working on their gliders and researching ways to make them more aerodynamic. Kitty Hawk was an island in North Carolina that had many sandy beaches and steady, steady winds, perfect for flying a plane or even a kite. “If birds can glide for long periods of time, then… why can't I?” Orville Wright. As John Lennon said “you may say I'm a dreamer but I'm not the only one. I hope one day you will join us and the world will live as one.” These visionaries changed the lives of everyone in the world, you may not think it affects you or as many people as I stated, but without the Wright brothers there would be no airplanes and travel, shipping and warfare would change dramatically, everyone would drive or they would take boats. I have to take a moment to thank the Wright brothers without them who knows if airplanes would exist and people would think human flight is such a crazy idea.
