Short story by Flannery O'Connor "A good man is hard to find" Flannery O'Connor's personal point of view about the justification of religion and the resulting world or corruption and depravity are evident in his short story “A Good Man is Hard to Find.” Analyzes the fundamental predicament of human existence and its conflict with religious belief. The first two-thirds of the narrative sets the stage for Grandma, who represents traditional Christian beliefs, to clash with The Misfit, who represents modern scientific beliefs.
