Introduction: The project is about diversity in the workplace. Our goal is to show how important diversity is in the workplace, how the manager has an important role in the diversity-based workforce and what challenges the workplace can face with different types of diversity. The idea came from how an individual can react when dealing with different people who have different differences. The importance of this project was to gain an understanding of the methodology and concepts that contribute to diversity in the workplace. Literature View: Diversity has several meanings that can define and explain what diversity means. Starting from the first meaning, Diversity is the collective strength of experiences, skills, talents and cultures that each employee brings to the company. The second definition of diversity concerns the different ways in which people can differ from other people based on ethnicity, gender, age, religion, disability, national origin and sexual orientation. There are 3 ways people see diversity:1. Workforce diversity: The differences and similarities among people in an organization.2. Superficial diversity: the easily noticeable demographic differences between each employee that can give rise to stereotypes.3. Deep diversity: the differences in values, personalities and work preferences of each employee. Why is managing workforce diversity so important? The benefits fall into three main categories:1.
