Network DesignNetwork design is very important when it comes to implementing a connection between a computer and a server. According to networking websites, the network is defined as a “connected set of devices and end systems, such as computers and servers, that can communicate with each other” (McQuerry). The network carries data in many types of environments, such as homes, small businesses, and large enterprises. Network positions It is one of the main factors. There are several types and locations of networks, including the network in a home or home office for communicating over the Internet, locating information, placing orders for merchandise, and sending messages to friends. Whatever the reason, all of these networks share common components. According to Network World, the most common network components are personal computers, interconnects, such as NICs, network media and connectors. Switches and routers are also part of the network components. When designing a network, key goals require pairs of elements: a drawing or diagram, hierarchical network design, IP addresses, routing protocols, servers, and switches. A good network does not create itself. According to the SCTE website, “The network diagram uses common symbols to capture network information for planning, referencing, and troubleshooting purposes. The amount of information and the details of that information differ from organization to organization” (Introduction to Network Design Concepts). To design a decent network you need to follow these steps: verify the business objectives, determine the features and functions required to meet the needs identified in the previous step, perform the advertising network evaluation, c...... half of the document. .. ...utions/Verticals/EttF/EttFDIG/ch 3_EttF.pdf>"Implementing a Network Project."
