Values remind me of ethics and morals, necessary in every area of life and imperative in the workplace. These concepts are guidelines that employees must follow to be successful. “Values represent fundamental beliefs that a specific mode of conduct or end state of existence is personally or socially preferable to an opposite or reverse mode of conduct or end state of existence.” (Robbins, 136) Integrity, courage, service, wisdom, respect, and goal setting are some of the most crucial values for me and what I hope to achieve in any business setting.
