Wrestlemania 15, outside of the main event, a surprise HBK appearance, and Triple H's infamous heel turn, is truly one of the biggest disappointments. The Attitude Era was great, no doubt, but much of the wrestling entertainment here seems to be non-existent. I can't stand Michael Cole either, I've always found him to be a mediocre announcer, so I was really happy that JR got to announce the main event. Wrestlemania 15 is still memorable to me, because Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock are my two favorite wrestlers of all time, and to see them perform in one of the greatest brawl clinics in Wrestlemania history was awesome.Matches.WWF Hardcore Championship. Billy Gunn|C| Against Holly hardcore against Al Snow. Big pop for Gunn, nice heat for Holly. This is the typical hardcore match, which has been aired a lot these days. Fairly unexciting, with only a couple of memorable points. Holly wins, taking advantage of Gunn's Fameasser.1 1/2 /5WWF Tag Team Titles. Owen Hart&Jeff Jarrett|C| Against D'Lo Brown&Test. Big up to Debra, why they find her attractive is beyond me, I think she is highly overrated. Pretty lackluster to say the least and too short to have any real impact. The Tag champions retain, with a roll up.1 1/2 /5Brawl For All Match. Bart Gunn vs. Butterbean. They should have made it last a few rounds, to make it seem legit, but they went the elimination route, which is a shame. Bart was a good fighter and it annoyed me that he won so easily.0/5Referral match. Great show against humanity. Big pop for Foley. Boring throughout, with the only entertainment, unfortunately coming from Foley who takes some sick looking bumps. Foley wins by disqualification. Next, Show turns the face, die-cutting......the middle of the paper... 0/50 definitely. LOUD pop for Austin, with surprisingly some haters in attendance. From a wrestling perspective, it may not look the best, but from a brawling perspective, it's one of the most exciting you'll ever see. These two go out of their way to give a memorable show to the fans. Some of the shots from these two were pretty crazy. Rock's usual hilarious antics, along with Austin's, are great. After a kick out Rock Bottom and a Stunner, Austin finally wins the gold, with a stunner, when Foley comes in for the 1-2-3 count. The loudest pop of the evening, for Austin's celebratory victory.5/5Conclusion. If it weren't for the main event, this might have rivaled WrestleMania's 11,2 and 4 as the worst of all time. It's really not that great. Die-hard wrestling fans like me should see it once out of curiosity, but the only thing really noteworthy is the main event.
