I want to meet the standard of promoting child development and learning. I will teach children about good health, physical activity and good nutrition. I might tell the kids to do some jumping jacks while singing a song about fruits and vegetables. I plan to use effective developmental approaches to include families in my classroom. For example, I could teach a lesson about good nutrition and send home a worksheet that children can do with their parents to encourage good nutrition. I want to create a song about good health and have the children say it every morning. The chant might be like, “I want strong bones! I want to be healthy! Yes, I want it, yes, I want it! What about you?" Then the person asked: "what about you?" responds by saying the same statement: “I want strong bones! I want to be healthy! Yes, I want it, yes I want it!
