I had never thought about it that way. I was just thinking about how much fuel I would have to use to get to the track. And then I started thinking about the kind of people that were at the track. All the people when I was there seemed like the nicest people in the world. They would come up to you and introduce themselves and then offer to buy you something from the concession. I felt like I was part of my family when I was there at the track. And I couldn't believe that people like that would think so harshly of someone who looked different. Even though in the back of my mind there was a part of me that knew it was true, but I just avoided that racist talk. I've heard derogatory terms on the track before and I didn't pay attention to it, I just moved on but now I see there was a racist crowd
