My dream houseSince I was ten years old I knew what kind of house I wanted to live in. A house that is on the lake and after I start a family will be considered a loving home.One of the most important details of a house is the location. My home will be located where it is quiet and peaceful. My home will be located on a small private lake, but about a couple hundred yards from the lake's edge. The best location for this would have to be in Minnesota. Minnesota has beautiful lakes with large homes around. If it were to rain a lot, I would want my house to be far enough away that it wouldn't be damaged. I want my house to be located where it is hot in the summer and cold in the winter. I think the best state for this to happen is Pennsylvania. It's always so beautiful there. The structure of a house is a very important part of its construction. The house will have two floors and a full basement. There will be shuttered windows on each side of the house. There will also be windows in the basement where some of the soil has been excavated so that light can enter the basement. There will be a terrace overlooking the lake around the first and second floors of the house. The purpose of having the deck in that location is so anyone can go out there and relax and watch all the people boating by. There will be double sliding glass doors...
