Kids are always interested in sports at a young age, sports like football, hockey and soccer. I found these sports boring and not fun to play. One day, while I was browsing the Internet, I came across a video of a boy not much older than me at the time, named Ryan Sheckler. This guy had a video online showing off his skills on a skateboard. In a way I was intrigued and impressed. My focus was on my goal of learning to skateboard. Then I left the house to buy a skateboard at the store. When I got to the store there were many options to choose from, such as different sizes (length and width), wheels, bearings, trucks, and even duct tape. In the end, I decided to get a blind board with independent trucks, Spitfire wheels and bearings, and Jessup tape. After putting the deck together, I left the shop and began my adventure into the underground world of skateboarding. When I got home I started rolling around in the street getting my stride and balance right before trying anything....
