Christmas shopping, for me, is a nightmare because of the large crowds and all the fighting and competitiveness. I think last minute shoppers are the worst, they are the rude and impatient ones. For some people, with a lot of patience, dealing with holiday shoppers is a great experience. For people like me, who have very little patience, it is a terrible experience. Another aspect of holiday shopping is dealing with tired, overworked and frustrated employees. They're just trying to get their work done as quickly as possible so they can get home to their families. Meanwhile, there are those employees who are cheerful and eager to help upset shoppers. Additionally, horrible accidents can often occur during the holidays at this time of year. I will describe the dangers and inconveniences that can occur during holidays. I'm not against vacations, but the older I get, the more I have no desire to expose myself to all the potential chaos. Unfortunately I saw first hand the staff, customers and staff in action.
