Topic > Meijer Case Study - 1653

The few times I have had the opportunity to speak with old colleagues, managers and otherwise, they have told me that the store is running smoothly with the changes even if the new store manager does not he was hired from a previous position at Meijer and needs to learn some of our different ways of doing things. I have shopped there a few times since the new store manager took over. And from a customer perspective, I haven't noticed any real difference in the overall performance of the store, other than the sales displays seem to come out better on the sales floor and by the end of the week the new grocery managers are handing out the product the shelves that make the most sales. Also, I noticed that not all employees wear the same color shirt, which means they get help from other stores, which is both good and bad. It's a shame that they don't seem to have enough employees to run the store, but it's good that the managers and store director finally understand that the store is understaffed and are doing something about the problem.
