According to the Meriam-Webster dictionary, courage means the quality that allows someone to do dangerous or scary things. Living in this world, people need to have courage, but unfortunately it is difficult to obtain. When people don't know how dangerous a situation is, they aren't afraid of it. In certain situations, people are so unaware of how terrible that situation is that they are foolish and inconsiderate. In these situations, people are more reckless than brave, but they still contain some courage. Children are often the bravest and most reckless people; they are simply too naive to see the danger in a situation. For the most part Bruno, like many children, is brave and reckless but sometimes shows fear; he's not afraid to disobey authority and make friends with someone on the other side of the fence.
