Topic > Personal Experience: My Experience with an iPod touch

I took private lessons after school with my friends and spent time studying with my tutor on the weekend. My plan for the last half and a year of middle school focused only on studying. I believed I had to study a lot to make my dream come true and I made the promise I made to my parents come true. After a year and a half, I took the transfer test for middle school students in one of the top three national gifted high schools in Hanoi, where was the capital of my country, Vietnam. I was accepted into one of the top three national gifted high schools, called "High School for Gifted Students, Hanoi National University of Education (HNUE High School)". When I was accepted, my high school was ranked second nationally in Vietnam's college admissions ranking. This was such surprising and wonderful news for my family and especially for me. I finally kept the promise I made to my parents. My parents didn't believe that I actually did what I promised them. I finally got the iPod Touch I've always dreamed of. My parents told me they also planned to give me an iPod Touch after I graduated from middle school, even if I failed to get accepted into the nation's top three high schools. When I heard what they said, I realized that I learned a valuable lesson from my experience. I wondered if I would give up on convincing my parents to buy me an iPod
