Topic > ||||Trigger warnings began at the household level, as parents protected their children from material that was inappropriate for their age. With something similar in mind, many university professors and teachers are already implementing trigger warnings into their lesson content. These professors typically care about the well-being of their students and want them to feel comfortable discussing their class material. Moving on to the opposite argument, many professors disagree and don't think they should implement these warnings into their policies. A group of professors went on to say that the responsibility for their students' emotions should not be placed in their hands, but should ultimately be placed in the hands of the students themselves. Adding trigger warnings at universities would create a protective campus and protect students from the gruesome reality that is our world
