The thoughts depicted are in no way intended to infringe the copyrights of these registered companies, but rather to adapt their ideas and incorporate them into an original tale as depicted below. The story also incorporates Isaac Asimov's 3 Laws or Laws of Robotics, as they have been broken and undone such that robots have now ruled over humans for 40,000 years. Terminus: The Revolution Ends As Andy took the Terminus Stone, the power to end the revolution was within his grasp. After 40,000 years, Andy, the only human to conquer Terminus Cave, had a chance to end the cyber-human war. The Terminus Stone, the mineral that gives its wielder the power to kill a robot god. The Terminus Cave, a treacherous path that no mortal without Aether could cross. As Andy approached the glowing ore in the center of the Process Chamber, he unhurriedly reached out and grabbed the ore and in an instant 40 millennia of destruction and devastation ended instantly. Aether was a mysterious substance studied for centuries, the radiation caused by the cyber-attack gave some humans the power to fight robots in close combat. However, only a few humans were able to regulate and control the power before it overwhelmed them. Andy's power was somewhat unique, he could create energy spheres and throw them effortlessly. Throughout his life Andy has been peaceful, until the information revolution of 2016. A robot God was proclaimed known as Snake and banished humans to... middle of paper ......h the social issues we face daily, however how certain it is for mankind that this possibility is achievable in the near future. The odds are highly unlikely, this is because there are no protocols put in place to prevent it. People argue, although it's not hard to see why, we have become a race in which technology is a fundamental component of daily life. The arguments border on the fact that while we have the technology to create robots, we should not have the technology to prevent robots from harming humans as a whole. As such, the story portrays the negative half of the planet's possible future, a future of war, destruction, and bloodshed. Though in the darkness where all the carnage is stored, we humans can only hope that there is a glimmer of hope that will illuminate the path forward. Word Count Story: 1271 Analysis: 692
