Guns have been around for a long time. People love having the freedom to do what they want, especially when they can own something that makes them feel superior. The introduction of the Second Amendment opens the controversial, but well-anticipated, opportunity for citizens of the United States to own firearms. Americans enjoy the advantage of gun ownership for decades over people in other countries. People can buy guns and carry them around in public. They own guns for many reasons, such as hunting, protection and simply satisfying their desire to own a gun, but in recent years the issue of people carrying guns has become a problem. There are so many people killed by guns in different parts of the country. This has raised the alarm for the Government to decide whether firearms regulation should be enforced. These issues, once again, spark a major debate in America over whether the right to bear arms granted by the Second Amendment was giving states the right to maintain militia units or giving people the right to keep and bear arms. the United States won in the war against Great Britain to be an independent country, there were many conflicts between the Federalists, those who support the American Constitution, and the Anti-Federalists. The ratification of the Constitution in 1787 made many Anti-Federalists unhappy with the government because they feared losing the individual rights they had fought so hard for in the war with Great Britain. The Bill of Rights was added to the Constitution to guarantee the individual rights of American citizens. It contains the ten fundamental rights that every individual in the United States should have in...... middle of paper ......as set forth in the United States Constitution.
