Every university student is worried about their academic future, especially today in times of economic crisis. College students are desperate for an experience that can later distinguish them from other job candidates and increase their chances of landing the job they want. Internships provide valuable experience needed for work and are an important part of an academic career. However, when it comes to internships, the issue of unpaid internships can be raised with differing opinions on the question of the benefits of such unpaid internships. Many people believe that because a stipend does not cover emerging costs, such as living expenses and transportation, unpaid internships turn into an expensive experience that places an even heavier financial burden on students.
