To top it off, it only takes about 30 minutes to reach my farthest cousins' house. Many of my friends talk about cousins ​​they have in different countries that they have never met. I've also talked to people who don't know where their cousins ​​are. However, my family is quite different. I have known my cousins ​​since I was born and I even went to school with some of them since kindergarten. My mom is best friends with her sister and we have extended family dinners once a month. This includes my grandparents, great aunt, aunts, uncles and cousins. Both my mother and father's side of the family are very large, and just like us, ninety percent of them live in Calgary. I am happy to consider some of my cousins ​​my best friends. My entire family has played a huge role in shaping me into who I am today. My cousins ​​helped me overcome many problems I had growing up by giving me courage and guidance. My aunts and uncles inspired me to choose education as a career path and my grandparents supported my theater career. It's hard to imagine what kind of person I would be today if I hadn't had them all by my side from the beginning. My family is big, but we are all heavily invested in each other
