Any warrant to search someone's premises must be obtained with probable cause. This prevents the government from using underhanded tactics just to search your belongings. While this amendment was designed as protection against government invasion of your privacy, it also applies to any individual who may violate your privacy (Albert, 2014). However, there are exceptions to this amendment as well. People who often suffer from invasion of privacy are celebrities, they constantly have paparazzi following their every move and taking photos. Some have even reported that paparazzi have been snooping through their trash to get information about them. The law has not been as harsh on paparazzi because they have lower expectations of privacy due to their status, but this does not give people the right to invade their privacy at all costs.
