Topic > How important is the mentor teacher to the student...

2. Introductiona. Problem Statement / Research Problem (Question 2) Throughout their graduate studies, student teachers acquire valuable theoretical knowledge about teaching without truly understanding how this knowledge will be applied practically once they enter the classroom for the first time. This is why practical teaching activities are of paramount importance: trainee teachers are given the opportunity to put their theory into practice in a controlled environment, under the supervision and guidance of a mentor teacher. At the same time, trainee teachers can contribute to school effectiveness by bringing new knowledge, new perspectives and enthusiasm into the classroom if they are given the opportunity to provide input. Process factors such as classroom teaching and lesson planning are crucial to school effectiveness. Trainee teachers will need to learn how these process factors manifest in the classroom by observing their mentor teachers. Once trainee teachers begin to practice their skills in the classroom, they will be in a better position to identify possible ways to contribute to school effectiveness and may have the opportunity to share their ideas.b. Rationale (Question 4) The purpose of the study is to address the issue of process factors in school that influence school effectiveness; without these simple process factors schools and classrooms cannot function efficiently. Another issue in this study related to the previous statement is to bring forward the issue of trainee teachers who only bring textbook knowledge into the classroom with little or no teaching experience. This shows us the importance of mentor teachers in guiding these student teachers to orient themselves in a classroom and… middle of paper… mentor teachers' guidance on school effectiveness has been shown in this essay to be two important contributors to effectiveness. Input factors are the people that make the school effective, process factors are the elements of the school that make it work and make it effective, and output factors are what the school uses to test the effectiveness of the process factors. Therefore, without the process factors, being up to standard, the school cannot function correctly. Teachers are the only reason why these process factors work efficiently in a school and without trainee teachers, prospective teachers learn to do the same with the guidance of a mentor teacher so that the school can maintain its high standards in future and achieve effective school results. I WILL RESOLVE THIS WHEN WE HAVE VERBALIZED THE PROBLEM STATEMENT.
