Charles Kinsey was a behavioral therapist who was trying to help a confused autistic man who walked away from a group home. Mr. Kinsey complied with the officers and still ended up being shot. He informed the officers of what was happening and told them that the autistic man was holding a toy truck but that they were both unarmed. Officers said they received a call that someone had a gun but no one was armed. This case cannot be justified because he was unarmed and observed law enforcement. He told him calmly as he lay on the ground with his hands raised so why were they still shooting?
