Topic > Christian education vs. public school education

Many studies have shown that children who have received a Christian education have developed much better in our society and have been shown to have a much better quality of life overall. On the other hand, some of the same studies have shown that children who have received a public school education are not as successful in their personal life and work environment as children who are educated in a Christian manner. The main difference is in the content of the education offered at each school. In each state there are different guidelines that the public school education system must follow. For the state of Indiana, there is a general requirement on what must be thought about in each classroom for each grade level. When you look at the way a science lesson is taught, the fundamentals are mostly based on the big bang theory, which states that evolution is how we came into being and that everything in this world evolved from nothing, so there is no real purpose to what we are doing on this earth. Within the Christian education system, the foundation of all science is that God created us and that we all have a purpose in life. While mathematics has no real bias towards Christianity and non-Christian thoughts, the important part is how it is thought about, and that is what makes a big difference. Studying English in a public school has shown that it can be difficult for students to understand the concept of how to structure information. However, if you look at how a Christian school is thought of, there is a huge difference. Since the number one literature read every day from kindergarten to middle school is the Bible, it can help explain the difference in understanding how English literature and composed...... middle of paper..... . have the greatest impact on them now and in their future.Works Cited• Indiana Department of Education.
