Sir Terry Pratchett is a British writer, who writes comic novels with fantasy elements. He mainly writes books aimed at adults and teenagers, but has also written some books for children, such as "The Extraordinary Maurice and His Educated Rodents". His longest and best work is the Discworld series with 40 novels published as of October 2013. These novels are all fantastic; there isn't one I haven't loved. The stories are connected to each other; Characters from different plots can appear in each other's stories. Books tend to have something important to tell, for example in Hogfather (why we have to trust in non-existent things), or in Carpe Jugulum and in Charmed Abroad (if you know who you are, you can defeat your darkest part) side ). The world the writer creates is very detailed and there are very few inconsistencies and plot holes, which is impressive given that, as of 1983, he has written at least one novel a year for the last three decades.
