Gender equality in education is the right of every child; men and women have the right to access education. UNICEF (2014) is committed to gender equality in education, also supporting governments in reducing gender disparities through interventions at national, local and community levels aimed at empowering girls, however, inequality still remains. In conclusion, while it seems that ideologies on stereotypes Traditional gender roles and gender inequality have changed in recent decades, but it still remains evident that the female gender still experiences gender discrimination in the workforce, in the family, through the media and in education. However, with organizations such as UNICEF (2014) promoting gender equality, one can only hope that a solution will be found to the existing discrimination against the female gender.
