The Revolutionary Impact of the iPadThe December 2010 edition of "Men's Health" magazine declares the iPad as the #1 technological object. 1 to acquire, the article finds that tablet computing is altering the way we connect, work and play. The final line reflects the darkness by emphasizing that the real winner in 2011 is us, as the exciting reality of an "always on" future finally reveals itself. (Apple iPad, 2010)It is not surprising that technology continued to develop and that the concept of the tablet, i.e. "iPad", was born, but that, as it was introduced and made available to the general public - worldwide, has created such a synergistic effect almost creating a level of what some might consider “Technology Culture Shock.” Programming applications being developed “First on the Block” are being devoured and used by the public in daily life in all aspects. In every imaginable category, all types of multimedia entertainment, on-site references or interaction for shopping, work or play. The rush to generate programs and find new uses for the iPad could almost be considered intense. Not a day goes by without dozens of new applications being released, many of which are free to the user as a trial or lite version just to convince the iPad user to try them. Newspapers and magazines constantly publish articles about new ideas and concepts that use the iPad. In fact, some believe it could have the same impact on today's society that Guttenberg's printing press had over 500 years ago.
