Erectile dysfunction, often called impotence, occurs when a man finds it difficult to get or maintain an erection. This disorder affects one in ten men in the long term. Most men suffer from it from time to time because they are drunk, tired or just don't feel like having sex at that moment. In the long term it affects sleep habits, love life and emotions. Edwin opened up about his erectile dysfunction due to prostate cancer surgery. He said he was mentally prepared but was still devastated about it. She stated that even if you are embarrassed there is hope out there, you just need to seek help for the disorder. To solve the problem of erectile dysfunction it is necessary to reduce alcohol consumption, stop smoking, stay away from recreational drugs, rest, relax, sleep, talk to your significant other to ease tension and anxiety, seek counseling and medications. (Edwin, 2009) A 20/20 interview was conducted with children with gender identity disorder. The first interviewee was a seventeen year old boy who is biologically a girl. He felt as if nature had played a trick on him. There is also a ten year old boy who lives as a girl. She had an understanding of what it meant to be transgender; his definition was “a genre that wants to be another”. When asked if that was it, she said “yes.” We also meet a six-year-old girl born male. All of their parents say it's not a phase they're going through, but a lifelong adoption of gender roles they're comfortable with. The report states that most children with gender identity disorder live in the shadows to escape a society that condemns them to be freaks of nature. They are often alienated from their family, which causes them to hate who they are....... middle of paper ......, atypical gender identity disorder, ambiguous gender identity adjustment, malingering, disorders endocrine, genetic or prenatal exposures, ambiguous genitalia, pseudohermaphroditism. We must remember that to cure any disease or disorder we must provide an accurate diagnosis so that the right treatment can be administered. For me, society matters more than culture. People ridicule and make you feel guilty for being different. (health.am)Works Cited(nd).
