Today, millions of men and women feel the need to undergo plastic surgery every year. Should the US government ban plastic surgery, or should people be allowed to have plastic surgery whenever they want, even if it compromises their “natural” appearance? Should we roll back the rights given to American citizens by the United States Constitution? People should be allowed to undergo any plastic surgery procedure their body allows. I think the government has no reason to ban plastic surgery. Like many of the hot topics in America, such as gay marriage and marijuana use, plastic surgery has no effect whatsoever on people who are not involved. It won't hurt others if someone spends their money on doing something they believe will make them happy. Taxpayers shouldn't worry because government-provided insurance doesn't pay for things like a facelift or tummy tuck, so it won't affect their pockets.
