My personal definition of leadership Based on my reflections and the theories mentioned above, I have come to define leadership as the ability to inspire, motivate and enable others to work collaboratively towards a shared vision, while promoting trust, respect and adaptability to meet the needs of the situation. A leader, in my opinion, is someone who leads by example, cultivates a positive and inclusive organizational culture, and demonstrates empathy, integrity, and resilience in the face of challenges. One leader in particular who left a lasting impression on me is my former supervisor who worked part-time. Despite the demanding nature of the work, she always remained composed, helpful and supportive.
