Topic > of factors influencing locals for domestic tourism, so we cannot cover them all in one research. The economic limitations and lack of equipment of this study. Theoretical background This study identifies the importance of push and pull factors in influencing travel motivations and decision making which also seeks to establish whether one of them is more important than the others. Even within the push and pull factors, the study tries to identify the most important elements for travel motivation. The research model showing the proposed mutual relationships between different variables is shown in this figure (baniya, 2016). Figure 1: The research model Therefore, the study proposed: Hypothesis 1: All factors of attraction motivations are important for domestic travelers. Hypothesis 2 : All push motivation factors are important for domestic travelers. Hypothesis 3: There is a significant relationship between income and ability to visit tourist attractions. Hypothesis 4: Pull motivations are significantly more important than push motivations for internal travel motivation. Example and procedure One hundred and twenty questionnaires were distributed to people involved in domestic travel activities in the last two months. Domestic travel activity was defined as traveling to various locations within the country to stay away at least for one night. Overall, 120 questionnaires were returned. 43% of respondents earn over 600 JOD on a monthly basis and stay below 600 JOD. 55% of the respondents in the study were women. Around 59% of the respondents were between the ages of 21 and 30, 35% were in the under 21 age group, and the rest of the respondents were above 30 years of age. This may be indicative that younger, more informed, connected and tech-savvy generations are more involved in domestic tourism. The age factor was not used as a control variable in this study, the respondents were chosen based on their engagement in domestic travel activities in the past two months (baniya, 2016). ResultsFirst of all, we found that money and time had the greatest effects on people. We can also say that the decision not to visit tourist attractions in Jordan is due to the economic situation of the area, so people work hard to raise money and satisfy their basic needs and do not think about visiting places outside their usual environment. They also do not have enough knowledge about tourist attractions, this is because people have not been educated on this topic since childhood and our weak education system in tourism. Furthermore, we do not have sufficient infrastructure in Jordan to ensure easy access for residents. In our questionnaire we also asked people about the factors that led to the lack of knowledge about tourist attractions, and the results were close to the different factors, which means that they all affect knowledge, and these factors are respectively marketing efforts, weakness of Ministry of Tourism and Jordan Tourism Board, these reasons can be attributed to weak tourism planning by the relevant authorities. According to the results we found that the main motive of Jordanian residents seeks relaxation and recreation, entertainment and also events in a destination are an important factor, in addition to this we found that local residents in Jordan do not pay attention to acquiring knowledge and to improved religious relationships and purposes, perhaps due to their educational level, cultural background, and community upbringing. Please note: this is just one.
