Heraclitus, a pre-Socratic Greek philosopher, once stated that "change is the only constant thing in this world" and I believe it. I believe change is the only permanent thing in this world. If you asked me how I can say that it is true, it is because it is already seen everywhere in our environment. There is no denying the fact that nothing stays the same all the time. An example of this is a simple sheet of paper. That paper will change its physical appearance the moment you start writing or drawing something on it. Another example is the Earth. Years ago, Earth didn't even look like this. It has fewer buildings, more on the rocks. But as the years pass, innovations occur and changes occur. The Earth we currently live in is caused by changes. The last example of evidence of change is people in general. Friends, lovers, enemies, they really don't stay with you forever. Lovers might lead to marriage, but after years of marriage, there would really be a reason to change your relationship. Betrayal, poverty, death, etc. Friendships last a long time but not long enough. They may be there for you through thick and thin, but when you're separated from them forever, you can't deny the fact that something is truly changing. The bond, the little updates you were constantly making before, would slowly fade into gray until everything was dark black. Some changes are positive, some are not. The biggest change, which I think is the most important, is the change in my body over the years. Say no to plagiarism. Get a tailor-made essay on "Why Violent Video Games Shouldn't Be Banned"? Get an original essay Puberty is normal. It has happened to everyone especially when they have already reached the age of majority. It happened especially in the adolescent phase. As far as my experiences of change go, it's been just like everyone else, but I find it quite devastating. When I was still a child, I was really chubby. I started learning to speak when I was 4 years old. Pretty late, but at least I can still talk. When I was 6 years old I was obsessed with soccer balls and I was also obsessed with fire. I love playing with fire. I love his warmth. I once burned my soccer ball for no reason. I was just bored. I also love burning crayons and experimenting with lots of things using fire. I started feeling real changes when I was in the teenage phase. I was circumcised at the age of 10 and I felt the changes in me. I became aware of my physical appearance and hygiene. I also tend to be lustful all the time, which was pretty normal though. It was also at this age that I started to feel attracted to girls. When I was 12, my body hair was already starting to grow. As for the present, I have already turned 18 and I guarantee a lot of changes since then. The mental, emotional and physical changes are what I observed. My mentality has changed, I tend to be more mature and understanding towards all the things that happen around me. I realized how wasteful I was when I was still a child. How I would just like to set aside that money my mother spent on me for my useless toys and spend it on important things instead. I'd probably have a car now if I just did that. As for my physical changes, I have noticed that my body has gotten stronger and I have become slimmer, which is very different from when I was still a child. Change is truly a requirement for life. Whether for better or worse, each of us needs changes. However, I'm happy with what I have now. After all, it was change that brought me this far.
