Topic > My Intent on Getting a Global Ugrad Study Abroad Scholarship

For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to participate in the Global UGRAD program which allows students to study abroad. I have been curious about studying abroad, especially in the United States, since my English teacher told me that his friends who knew English very well were studying in foreign countries, and they were so active that everyone could notice them in any social activity. So in college, I regularly participated in an English conversation club and an English grammar class, as well as trying to be as active as possible in social activities, including contests, debates, and competitions. To achieve my goals, I realize that I have to participate in the UGRAD Global Program which will give me a good opportunity. I am very excited about this opportunity and I feel that with the opportunity that your program will offer I can make my dream a reality and I can be a good example for the young generations in my land by successfully participating in the UGRAD Global Program. They always inspire me to learn the English language more fluently and try to be active in competitions and shows so I can study or travel to foreign countries. When I was in school I also participated in the English subjects competition and the mathematics subjects competition. Then I was awarded as the winner of the mathematics competition among forty-two schools in Dangara. Besides that, I took part in "Kelajak Ovozi" during my college years and when I was a freshman in my current educational institution, Kokand State Pedagogical Institute, I won the regional competition of "Yurt Kelajagi" on website programming in HTML. So I was awarded a certificate at “Respublika talaba-yoshlar festivali - 2015”. I have never had the opportunity to take part in the UGRAD Global Program which can provide study and travel to the United States, but I have always wanted to have it. With the help of my English teacher, I was able to become a member of our college campus's English conversation club, which is organized to help college students improve their English skills. Like many other students on campus I have developed an interest in this language and am now a student in the Foreign Languages faculty, in the English department. My family is also interested in the language I am learning. Besides, I also like to make new friends, have fun with them and USA is the country I always wanted to be. I find that I enjoy being in a foreign country and making new friends and especially learning to speak English more fluently better. Unfortunately, my family cannot afford to pay for my studies and travel, so I hope to use my skills and knowledge to help me participate in the UGRAD Global Program. The UGRAD Global Program represents what I want to have. With the UGRAD Global Program, I hope to have a good experience for the rest of my life. To achieve my goals, I need as much help as possible. I already have the moral support of my family and friends, but this is not enough to make my dream come true. I hope the UGRAD Global Program can help me realize this dream by awarding me your grant.
