IntroductionPersonality theories play a crucial role in providing an understanding of existing human behavior and interactions. Psychological understanding plays a vital role in influencing how an individual has a certain behavior. By understanding human behavior reflected in the psychological perspective, personality theories play a very critical environment where it is very easy to understand human behavior through different perspectives. Personality theories have played an important role in the development of a number of considerations in the field of psychology. There have been important developments, which have created a renewed understanding of the overall role that personality theories have been able to influence the field of psychology. This article will focus on developing a better understanding of the different concepts developed within personality theories in order to develop an integrative theory of personality. I will also focus on the seven concepts learned and important elements that I believe will be fundamental to understanding theories of personality. Say no to plagiarism. Personality theories provide an understanding of important aspects of human development, and it is clear that to understand the influence of personality theories on developmental psychology, it is important to understand the major underlying issues in the field of psychology. These issues provide a better and conducive environment where it is easy to understand the different vital elements in the field of psychology. An effective understanding of important concepts within personality theories provides a clear understanding of how it is possible to develop an integrative theory of personality that takes into account a better understanding of the cognitive and behavioral aspects of individuals (Dhar & Vaid, 2014). Concept of psychodynamic modelSigmund Freud developed this theory. He states that human beings are driven to act in a certain way by instincts of an aggressive and sexual nature. Consequently, the theory emphasizes the unconscious. We tend to hide many things from our environment through different defense mechanisms. Personality develops from a series of key psychosexual stages. Childhood has a greater influence on how adulthood develops and the existing relationships we tend to have within our social environment (Zhang, 2013). The development of this theory took a period of 40 years through which Freud was able to focus on his own developmental model to have a clear understanding of the important factors influencing covert behavior. A key aspect I will focus on within this concept would be Freud's structural components of the mind, ego and superego. These elements provide an understanding of how an individual is able to engage within a given environment. These elements provide an important focus on what needs to be considered in creating a better environment where both behavioral and cognitive understanding of an individual needs to be understood. The Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is an important assessment tool that provides a significant understanding of the underlying issues, which describe an individual's well-being and personality (Tananchai, 2017).Concept of Behavioral Model Behavioral model focuses on social learning theory in which an individual adopts a given type of behavior based on the social environment and effort. The development of social learning theory as a personality theory is based on Clark Hull's stimulus response learning theory. Therefore, Miller and Dollard developed social learning theory through the integration of several psychoanalytic concepts. The social learning theory developed by Dollard and Miller has a significant relationship to how Clark developed his own account of how animals learn. The most significant element developed in this theory is that human behavior occurs due to different actions (Magidson et.al, 2014). A key factor I would consider here is how the social environment influences individual well-being and overall understanding of key issues within a given environment. Human behavior is subject to their interaction and therefore it is necessary to focus on an effective understanding of the consideration of quality where it is easier to understand some of these human developments.Neurobiological model conceptThis model concept follows the nervous system of an individual and aims to create a better understanding of how humans are able to perceive certain stimuli. Activity, emotionality and sociability are the key elements of neurobiology based on the Buss and Plomi model. If an individual has experienced a lot of trauma in their life, they are more likely to adopt a withdrawn or introverted personality while individuals who have lived a normal and happy life are more likely to have an open personality since they do not carry any burden (Vansteenkiste & Ryan, 2013). Therefore, one of the main understandings that I will consider here will include how activity, emotionality and sociability are able to influence individual personality. Understanding these elements will create a very enabling environment where it would be very easy to develop a clear understanding of personality. Concept of Trait Pattern This theory provides a critical understanding of habitual patterns, which tend to influence individual well-being. It provides a better focus on how individuals are able to perform certain tasks in a different way where there is a clear focus on the positive aspects. Personality traits follow a certain path and are crucial in ensuring that individuals have a certain amount of attention within their social environment. The model focuses on five personality traits, which explain variations in human behavior and overall engagement. These traits include openness, agreeableness, extraversion, neuroticism, and conscientiousness. One of the theorists who has developed a key focus on the trait model is Gordon Allport. He developed a crucial understanding of trait theory that individuals possess certain traits, which shape their personality (Tananchai, 2017). I will focus on this trait to develop a clear understanding of personality traits, which highlight different behavioral characteristics that individuals can tend towards, take on. This will provide a clear environment for the development of an integrated theory of personality in which it would be very easy to understand human characteristics and behaviors. Cognitive model concept The cognitive mode focuses on the work of the mind. The mind in this case plays a crucial role in influencing how we react and make decisions. Behaviorism is an important aspect in cognitive psychology, which is more concerned with the critical understanding of human behavior.
